I finally have my first Honda. Found it locally and I'm exited to see what the fuss is about. This build thread will go a little slowly so I apologize.
B18CR and matching Trans from a 98 Honda Integra Type R. The reason I purchased THIS particular car.
Engine oil and Trans oil change both using Royal Purple 5W30 HPS. Engine Oil filter is also Royal Purple. Also installed Skunk 2 Magnetic drain plugs for both sumps.
Flushed the clutch and brake fluids. Installed Russle stainless lines for both systems.
Also installed The Chase Bays De-Powered steering rack reservoir as the rack was just plugged.
Came from a Miata too, you'll find their "tossability" to be pretty familiar after you mess with suspension a little. Have only ever sat passenger in a Mini during autocross, but I'm sure it's similar!

My mini Would run circles around The miata and Civic. Trying to make the civic even better
Yea a miata and mini sounds like you enjoy small fun cars too. Any big plans for this civic or just drive it?
It's my daily. Goal is to use it for Autocross and HPDE events. Keeping the engine pretty much stock since it's special and plenty fast for me. Although I want to improve on the reliability of it.
I'm piecing together parts for my LMA and Valve stem seal replacement job and I want to replace the Valve springs and retainers while I'm in there. Any recommendations? Stick with stock? I'm seeing alot of horror stories with titanium retainers and daily driving.
