I have an 2005 black ep3 very beautiful car and I love it
the motor is in perfect condition
I will fit a turbo on it to make 550 hp on fully stock motor
I will make a motor rebuild and the head will be full ferrea valves , manifold hand made like full race
and I will play a little with the compression
it will be daily drive car at 300-400 hp
And on boost controller 550 hp + meth
In my country Greece have plenty but all use Garret turbo
3076 / 3576 / 3582 GT and GtX
I won't to make the difference and use a Precision turbo
I have in mind only Gen 2 ball bearing PTE turbos
5558 / 5862 / 6062
In k20 I have seen problems in low rpm spooling
this is a highly recommend motor
so I won't to spool from 4000 -5000 and have power until the 9k rev red line
if any have the same setup please also share with me the rpm spool
In my setup I will use max 1.1 bar pressure
And in daily mode low pressure 0.4-0.5

Full spool is usually achieved earlier than redline of course. Depends a lot on your controller, BOV and wastegate, but you'll see full pressure around 3500-5000 rpms at wide open throttle..

 

In Wich of the turbo above I will have the best results
