i have 02 si k20 a3 my son missed a back shift with the car went from 5 to 2 while excelerating hard it way over reved obviously and threw an instant check engine light i checked the code and its misssfiring on all cylinders it still runs but rough people i talked to think it skipped a tooth on timing chain any thoughts please.

 

How about bent exhaust valves... it is unlikely that you have jumped time since you did not disclose a cam phase code along with your misfire codes.
