I'm new to this site so i have no idea how to post or where to post , so if this is in the wrong place I am sorry !! BUT IM HAVING TROUBLE .!!!! My 92 honda prelude brake lights wont work. Every other thing is working but i checked the wiring , the switch and fuse and bulbs they all are good and getting power bc i tested it all . ANY ONE have an idea what it could be ????

 

Maybe burned bulbs? have you replaced them? Check the fuses first

 

Assuming you've checked all the obvious culprits already, check if their is continuity on the brake switch, (module on top of brake pedal lever itself) and check for continuity when the switch is on (brake pedal pressed down). I can't recall exactly which terminals but you can find which ones to check in the factory service manual.

If no continuity, bad switch. If their is, a possible shortage within the wiring or bad ground connection.
