When i get to about 45 50 mph i notice a loss in pressure(?) the car will sputter and slow a bit then catch back up and then i have enough rpm to switch it to overdrive from 4th. (Slapshift) oil light in car was blinking when this happened. also have to keep it at 1000rpm in idle else it will drop to low and make the light blink again

check your oil level, if ok then you have to inspect the oil pump.
