Default Help

So I got this 93 eg hatch and every time I turn the key to start the car is starts but when I let go of the key the car dies right away anyone know what the problem is? Thanks in advance if you help

This is usually the ignition switch. Pull the brake handle up and watch the BRAKE light on the dash, since this light is powered from the same circuit as the ignition. It should stay on while cranking and after you release the key to the running position. If it goes out, the switch is bad.
