Default 93si HB feels lose at high speed?

Getting my HB back on to the track after many years and it’s getting extremely lose feeling at the top end. It seems about the time the car reaches around 80mph it feels like the car is on ice sakes basically and by the time I hit 110mph plus it’s getting a little nerve racking. Car still drives tight at lower speeds and the shocks are a stock style with ground control coil overs with a set of 205/40/17’s. I know torque steer with contribute to part , but I don’t remember having this issue in the past. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this

Torque steer shouldn't impact things at all at that speed.

When was the last time you had an alignment? Have you checked your tie rods?

its been a while since it’s had an alignment, but the tires wear evenly so I would not expect that to be it. Now I don’t know enough about the tir rods which probably needs to be looked over. I’m pulling the transmission out this week to replace the synchros and I will look at all the ball joints and suspension. It’s hard to explain how the car feels, but considering it’s about to start getting a lot faster I need to get things figured out before I float into a wall. Lol
