How can i achieve high speed stability?? Whenever I go about 90-ish i start to shake and it feels like my car is going to explode. Is there anything i can do ??

make sure the tires are at the right pressure, are not worn and balanced and get an alignment but it should be fine at 90. i dont even notice when my car gets to 90.

yah, I have to watch the speedo or else I can just drive up to 90-100 without realizing it when engaged in "sprited driving". I'd pump your tires up a little harder than usual, get 'em balanced and aligned, and if that doesn't do it, try new tires. it's almost always balance and alignment though.

I've been 130 in mine (very stupid, I know), and it was starting to get a little loose, but up to about 115, mine's solid as a rock.

I do 1xx on my commute every morning...no antenna problems yet.

the road has little imperfections you are feeling. A spoiler, balance, alignment...they all help. Our cars are like a brick going through air.

sounds like you just need balancing and alignment. If you think your car is still not stable enough, get a ITR wing. The front chin will help, but very very little.

I SERIOUSLY doubt any claims above 125 mph. GSRs do about 4k on the tach at 80 mph. That would put you at about 7k at 110 or so. At 140 you'd be doing, OOOH, about 10k on the tach---- Yeah.....right. Anyone going over 100 should be doing it on the track and not the freeway. I doubt an Integra would do over 125 mph.

i have never personally got it over 110, but i know that magazines and people (too many to all be lying) have got their tegs to over 130. if u have some kind of proof that would be one thing but please dont just guess at the top speed.

edit: btw, unless my speedo was very off i wasnt at 7k at 110

if it is possible to get 115 in 3rd at about 9000-9500 in 3rd then i believe that without a revlimiter, it is possible to do 130-140. which is believable (to me anyways)

I have had my speedo showing 140. That's probably 5 MPH off at least.

It is absolutely possible to get going over 125 in any Integra, provided that you have enough lead room. Keep in mind that at 6800RPM's with the RS/LS, the final drive calculation MPH is around 145 (drag, losses not factored).

I agree, it's stupid to be going anything over 90, but to each their own. My opinion is that as long as there is NO traffic around, and the only person you might kill is yourself (or your consenting passenger) then go for it.

Anyway, my car is stable to 130. The biggest difference over stock w/ regard to stability is the shocks and springs.

It's the thought that counts.
