Hi. I have a Honda CRV 2006. I took my caliper pins out on the rear wheels to clean them and do not know which one now goes on top. The one with the grooves or the one without the grooves.

 

I've never personally looked at CRV brakes but I looked up the pins on Rock Auto and it appears the front pins are different but the rears are not. Proceed with caution!

 

I suggest keeping links to some Honda parts websites as they may come in handy. Some of my links aren't working anymore, but per https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-...ont-brake.html for the front brakes and https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-...ear-brake.html for the rear brakes, it looks like the dimpled one goes on top at least for the engine and trans combo I used.
