Default 2000 civic won’t start after fuse box relocation and wiring converted

Hi

I had relocated my fuse box inside the car and made custom obd1 harness for my 2000 civic. Now if I turn the key on fuel pump will prime but I have steady cel. The car will not crank.engine is h22, Ecu is obd1 p28. I tried my spare ecu no success . I checked a25,B1 for power and a23,a24,a26 and B2 for ground.also I checked the thermostat grounds and cleaned it. I jumped the starter engine will crank but not start.

You screwed something up hondamyheart... and nobody here can help without seeing what you have done. You will have to go back through ALL of your modified wiring and trace your steps. Good luck.

I didn’t cross the wires. I double checked. I pulled the cel but steady cel.

i know there is something missing. Because I tried my ecu on my brother’s car it works perfectly. I checked the wiring twice with the diagram still no luck . I am thinking maybe some wires to the dash are missing.

Check that all the power pins on the ECU have power. Check that the +5 volt sensor power bus comes up. Pay particular attention to main relay wiring. When the CEL comes on and doesn't go out with key on engine not turning, something is rather fundamentally wrong.

I just found out that Connector D pin 1 wire is cut. D1 voltage backup. What is the function of it? I am going to run a new wire and see if car starts without issues

I was away for 10 days. The car still won’t start. Got the rid of cel. It will not crank, if I apply 12v by jumper wire the car will start but stalls. Any ideas what to check next? Ignition coil?

Stalls cuz the ecu not telling injectors to fire and the fuel pump not getting power

look over your work and check your grounds.

Honestly, what's a realistic reason why people relocate the engine bay fuse box? Just to show off that there are less stuff to see? Half of the time, it's done incorrectly...hence this thread.

so I had the starting issue done. There car converted to manual, so there was 2 wires need to be shorted for the gear position to make the ecu thinks it is park position. Now I have to deal with the stalling issue, going to check the injectors first
