No start
Replaced starter brand new, battery tested fine but I'm getting no power to the starter on my 95 accord ex. I'm out of clues on what to do next to be able to start other then 2nd gear roll start
Starter has two wires going to it.
One is a heavy cable from the battery.
The other is from the ignition to the starter's solenoid.
Ground is the body of the starter.
Take meter and see if both wires are getting 12 volts when the ignition is turned to crank
If not then check clutch safety switch (clutch needs to be depressed for engine to crank)
Is it engaging .. working properly?
Do you know how to do a starter relay by pass tests?
Do you know how to put a wire to starter solenoid and touch the other end to the battery positive post to crank engine?
Do you know how to test the ignition switch?

If you come back here, be sure to check the switch under the dashboard that engages power to the starter when the clutch is pressed in. There will be two switches linked to the clutch pedal assembly under there. One disengages cruise control when the clutch gets pressed, and the other disengates power to the starter unless the clutch is pressed in, effectively putting the transmission in neutral.
No crank is sometimes because the small grommet on that clutch switch wears out. You might even find pieces of it on the floorboard. It looks like pieces of plastic rubbish, but it is what presses the button on the switch that allows 12V to go to the starter. If that switch is not pressed, you will get nothing.
