02 Accord EX 5 speed 2.3 clutch slip
Hey all. Quick post.
On my way home from work, things going smoothly.
Start off in 1st, all's well, into 2nd, no "bite". Vibration. Worked the pedal a bit, hydraulics feel good. Master and slave cylinders are new (7500 miles, OEM parts).
No smell of toasted friction material. Shift linkage feels solid, gates fine.
Limp home.
From a standstill, I'll release clutch in first. It's *tryingggg* to move, vibration and a weeeee bit of grip, it'll move slooooowly. Maybe 10% of the grip necessary to lock pressure plate/friction disc/flywheel.
Feels like all of a sudden someone greased my flywheel with dri-slide.
No leakage, master cylinder has good fluid. Pedal is solid, no different. Cursory vusual inspection of external transmission bellhousing & clutch fork/slave cylinder unremarkable.
Is this just the friction disc crapping out all of a sudden?
Made a quick YouTube video describing the issue:

Any feedback/suggestions are welcome.
TY!
