Egr valve or not?
I have a 2001 accord ex and my check engine light flashes and my TCS light is on. Had autozone run diagnostics and something about misfiring. They reccomend that i get my erg, egr, replaced. Another mechanic said i needed to just change my spark plugs. Its like my car is having a hard time going and is sluggish and like its not getting gas. Any ideas? Please help!!!!
Hello the codes that autozone vame out with are P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0300, P1399. Any advice and or help would really be appreciated i want to just cry im at a loss
One of your codes does point directly to the EGR valve, so perhaps it is stuck somehow. Take it off and look at it.
Your whole EGR rail, including the EGR valve, might be jammed with soot. You should read up on how to inspect it and clean all that up, and then clear the code in the computer.
Those codes could be caused by other things, but poor, or no flow, on the EGR system will throw those codes.
