How do I tell what gear my transmission is in? Whenever I took it out, it clicked a few times and it’s probably not in the gear I left it in. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you. Here’s a picture for reference.
It’s basically the rod sticking out of the transmission that connects to the shift rod by that really annoying pin.
yes, it does, but it doesn't matter if it moved when you removed the linkage. once reinstalled, you find neutral with the shifter as normal and away you go.
