Low Fuel Pressure and Check Engine Light on for Throttle Position Sensor
I have a 93 Del Sol Si and am experiencing fuel pressure problems as well as a CEL for code 7 (TPS) that I can't help but think they are related in some way.
I put in a new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new TPS, new o2 sensor, cleaned the air filter but none of that has fixed the CEL or the low fuel pressure. The car seems to hesitate and have a lack of power until you get into higher rpms. At this point I dont know what to do and I dont know if the CEL has anything to do with the low fuel pressure but at the same time I need to fix the code anyways because I want to get the car inspected soon.
Any insight on this would be much appreciated. Thank you!

How do you know the fuel pressure is low? Have you measured it?
Check that the sensors are plugged in properly. The plug with one solid white wire goes on the MAP not the TPS. There is a sticky "wiring guide" at the top of this forum you can use to check the other plugs. Unlike most cars, the Honda sensor plugs are all physically the same and can be mixed up.
Test TPS with a voltmeter. This is essential after replacing it. Turn key on but don't start then backprobe the center wire on the TPS and measure voltage to ground. It should be 0.4 volts with the throttle closed. Loosen the TPS mounting screws and rotate the sensor to meet that voltage. Then the voltage should increase smoothly to about 4.5 as you open the throttle (engine NOT running). The WOT voltage is not critical, always adjust for idle voltage.

Closed or "at rest" TPS voltage should be between .490 and .500 volts. Full throttle should have a value of greater than 4.20 volts but not more than 4.95 volts.
