Hi, a garage broke a lug on my wife's 2012 CR-V front passenger wheel when she had new tires installed - it looks like you would have to pull out the hub to replace the stud/lug.

Is this a big job that involves pulling out the hub - hence also a new bearing etc?

Service advisor at local Honda dealer says it's only $73 to replace (parts & labor)? Is this true? Anyone with 2012+ have to replace this?

 

To add to this I called dealer again for clarification - the service manager said the hub design for 2012 CR-V's changed mid-year and they won't know until they see it, if they can tap it out as some have a notch to be able tap it in/out.
