hi my friend has some old mitsubishi parts chillin, turbo, manifold, piping, injectors, intercooler etc. and i want to boost my slow grocery getter. all the parts are free- i will do the work myself. is this a realistic option? can i redrill the exhaust manifold as i have seen in the archives? this setup is the ghetto solution but the price is right. will dsm 450cc injectors work/ be too much fuel? please help me i need to move on this! thanks for any advice

 

Go for it ! Especially if it's free. You will probably need a S-AFC or V-AFC to tone those injectors down a bit with the VAFC hack (search on this).

 

Only thing about will definetly be able to use is the turbo, manifold, and intercooler, and possibly the injectors. I doubt the piping or anything else will work. Does he have a BOV? I dont see why you cant follow the archieves and do it yourself.
