Default Changing timing belt 93 civic.. What other maintenance to do while I'm down there?

Doing a timing belt job soon. I'm at 150,000. Is there anything else I should do or check out since I'm removing the valve cover? Oil seals or anything?

Why no front main crank seal?

-------------------------------------

The reason I asked what vehicle, some have oil coolers and some do not behind the oil filter.

Also want to check to see if this thread belongs in this forum.

Are you in the USA, Canada, some other country? I ask as some fluids available to me in Canada may not be available to people in USA and vice versa (ask me how I know. )

Use OEM coolant from the dealer. I didn’t but am going to due to Tony’s recommendation.

In Canada we have a brand called OEM that allegedly is formulated to the same spec as dealer, they provide for each of the major manufacturers. We also have store brands that are for the specific model/type.

I'm not sure if you have the same availability in the states.

coolant from local auto parts store will be fine. I would stay away from 50/50 type because who's to say the content is actually half coolant and half water. I usually get 100% coolant and get a gallon of distilled water.
