Tach signal problem b18b1 ek
Hey guys im new to honda tech ad have been having some issues with my tach and fuel gauge after my swap. i have a 96 ek dx obd2a and swapped in an obd1 ls with obd1 p75 and jumper harness. the tach and fuel gauge worked fine before the swap and im at a loss of where to start looking. Does the signal wire come from the blue dizzy wire or from the ecu? also not sure why the fuel gauge stopped working at the same time. I swapped out clusters and had the same issue. if anyone can help out a beginner i would appreciate it. thanks

"BLUE" tachometer wire is at the driver side plugs (engine) near the clutch/brake reservoirs. Make sure it's seated properly.

obd2a vehicles don't get their tach sensor from the ecu, so that means your distributor provides that. If the tach wasn't working before and your fuel gauge is throwing a fit than you have other electrical issues you need to hunt down.
