Default 2001 civic clutch master cylinder

Does anyone have a video or advise of how to remove the cylinder? It's really tucked back in there and I'm not sure what is the best way to remove it. Thanks for any help.

Best advice on these projects is take your time. If you're not patient enough I recommend you get some assistance. No need to tow it into a shop or anything. Simply get a friend and some tools, plan it out and give yourself the whole day (start early) to carefully disassemble and replace the necessary parts. Good Luck. If I find a good video I'll send it over.

It's somewhat self explanatory. Disconnect the pedal from the clutch matter cylinder. Use U-Joint swivel socket to get in there easier. Flare wrench for the hydraulic line fitting. Also replace the slave cylinder at the same time.

USE OE PARTS

I had a shop do mine, it was winter and I didn't have a garage. I went through 2 aftermarket ones in a year. Biggest PITA ever. OE been good for about a year. The aftermarket ones also made my clutch feel terrible.
