overfilled clutch master cylinder reservoir
I just picked up my car from the mechanic after getting the clutch master cylinder replaced. I noticed the reservoir is way overfilled, is this bad? what can it cause? the mechanic insisted that it was ok, but I want to make sure this is correct.
thanks for any input in advance.

It should be fine considering it won't use anymore than it needs. How can it be way over filled there isn't much room in there anyway. Just take out the amount it's over filled by and call it a day.

to take out the amount overfill, just open nipple on the slave cylinder to drain the extra? or siphon it out?

not really, at least not yet. I have only driven it three miles to my home. I thought the min, max marks where there for a reason. which is why I worry there could be performance issues later on. Either way, I'll head out to my parents garage tomorrow to drain some out, and keep it on specs
