Default Y8 head swap PLS READ

Let me start by saying that I have done some searching and did not find a conclusive result. I have a 00 lx civic (d16y7) and I want to put a y8 head on it (I believe this is called a mini me build?). Some threads say that I need the p2p ecu, but then I see that they are talking about a manual car. If my car is an auto, then do i still need the P2P or is the P2E fine? also, with it being an auto, do I need the two prong on the intake, or the 3 prong on the y8 intake? Thanks, i really appreciate it.

Also, if I go to the p2p ecu, do I keep the y7 fuel rail and injector or do I need the y8 rail and injectors?

Y7 injectors I believe are smaller than Y8 injectors. If you're going to run a stock Y8 ecu you need to run the appropriate injectors.

Get an automatic '99-00 Y8 cylinder head and complete intake manifold as well as a P2P auto ECU and you will be fine.

no, you won't. the y7 and y8 use a different automatic transmission. change the ecu and not the transmission= shifting issues. for the money and work, you are FAR better off converting to manual.
