hard starting SI
1993 del sol SI,has new fuel pump, starter, rotor and cap are good.if the car sits all night,it will crank for about 15 seconds before it starts, after that it will crank right up.if you turn the key to run and wait 3-4 seconds the check engine light goes out,you can hear a hum(fuel pump?) and it will start right away.is there a check ball in the fuel pump to keep fuel from running back into the tank that could be stuck as it seems to lose fuel pressure if it sits for a long time?it runs like a champ once it starts,no misfires, etc.
