Default valve train noise

When accelerating or at constant load, not at idle, I am hearing a clacking sound just under the valve cover. Any suggestions for what may be the issue?

valve lash. It's a honda. Adjust the lobe clearance with feeler gauges.

Yeah, it must have been just that, so far anyway. I went ahead and readjusted the with the minimum spec for clearance on the valves. I was able to run it at idle for an hour with no issues. Hopefully the road test will prove to be successful. Thank you for your input.
