Default 2000 Integra Sedan B18C JDM swap

I have a 2000 integra sedan, full B18C swap, fully built motor. I am having the strangest issue. I have searched and searched and nothing I have found seems to work. The problem is when the car revs to 5,500rpm in netural not moving or driving the tachometer drops to 0rpm until the rpms are back below 5,500rpm. The redline is set at 8,500 the car engages vtec, hits the limiter, but the tach quits working above 5,500rpm. Its running a hondata ECU. The blue wire from the dizzy is connected to the blue tach test wire by the front drivers side harness. I have replaced the ingitor in the dizzy with no change in the problem. What could the problem be? Any help would be much appreciated.

Any issues with the tach. I usually take apart the distributor. Clean connections and reassemble with dielectric grease.
