cdi and vapor install
I have a 2015 Ruckus and did the CDI install. I just installed the vapor spedometer but feel like it is at a high rev when on the kickstand. Do I have to install it differently because of the CDI?
Hello, try adjusting the idle screw on your carb. It's the tall screw next to the end of your throttle cable, where it connects to the carb.
Make sure the throttle cable isn't binding and that it is tightly secured to the carb. Also make sure the throttle grip isn't sticking.
The Vapor speedometer is NOT the cause of the high revs, and no you don't have to install it differently.(As long as it works properly.)
Here's a free tip: Do one mod at a time and check that it works BEFORE adding other mods. Trust me, it will save you alot of cursing and head scratching.
I learned this the hard way. Hope this helps.
