Default d16z6 in 95 civic vx

im swapping a d16z6 from a del sol into a 95 civic vx and car is bogging, check engine light is on. i already have wired the vtec solenoid and vtec pressure wire into the ecu a4 and d6

why did you have to wire in vtec? it is already wired in the vx. what ecu? what engine lights?

A regular VTEC engine will not run properly on VTEC-E manifolds and controls. You have to change a lot of parts not just the engine to convert a VX to be something else.

im sorry but i just found out that my car is a Dx, and i have a p28 5 speed ecu
