Failed Smog Gross Polluter

Hey guys,

My 98 Honda Civic 1.6 D16y8 5spd (all stock) just failed
smog at idle.
Any tips on what it could be?

Misfiring. And/or the spark timing is way off.

I’m going to check timing today. I haven’t noticed anything wrong with it, it seems to idle just fine and drives great. No check engine lights. Well it had one, the cruise control vacuum line was disconnected, plugged it back in and did an idle re learn and no issue’s since. I need to do an oil change, but I’ll hate really it, minus an oil leak from the valve cover gasket and distributor o-ring.
