I have a d16y8 head on a y7 block. Two days ago the highway and idled at a light for about two minutes, in 95 degree heat, when I saw coolant puddle running in front of me down the hill. I immediately pulled into a parking lot once I got through the intersection and popped the hood. The first thing I noticed was a coolant line blew, a rubber line located under my intake manifold in the middle of the head, plugged with a bolt. Once I bought a new hose and plugged it, I put coolant in and saw it leaking 30 seconds later. The leak is from an outlet, on the metal line that goes to my water pump, that doesn't seem long enough for a hose to be clamped on to. I did the best I could with the pictures, I cant quite get my phone under the intake.
Hoping someone else has ran into this problem. Please let me know!!
