Weird Electrical Issues After B18 swap ef
Hey all, just got an obd1 b18 running in my hatch. I wired all the injectors right into the ecu (pr4) but accidentally wired one of the signal wires to power. (stupid, I know). I lost power to the injectors and found fuse 14 down under the dash. I replaced it but I still can't get power to them. I ended up just running a fused wire right from the battery which seems to be working ok. Anyone have any insight into this? The main relay is good, as well as every fuse under the dash and hood. I'm pretty stumped. My temp gauge also goes all the way hot when the car is turned on, even when it's unplugged. Lastly, the idle is very high, like 2500 or so. I have not bled the radiator (I'm afraid to until the temp gauge is sorted out) so I think there could be air bubbles caught in the idle valves. The check engine light comes on almost right away but the O2 sensor is not plugged in so I figured it was probably that. If anyone's got some advice lmk so I can take this thing for a rip. (It's been down so long!!)
Well, your temp gauge wire is grounding out somehow. Check what codes are being thrown by the ECU to see what issues you're dealing with.
