Default 2007 Honda Accord 4 cyclinder AC Clutch not Engaging

Hi, I have a 2007 Honda Accord 4cyclinder 4 door. I replaced the relay and the clutch does not want to engage. It does however engage when I jump it. As well, my blower motor resistor sent bad so I jumped that temporarily so it’s only blowing max air. Would that effect the clutch not to engage. The freon level is good, but when I jump the relay for the clutch to engage, I’m not getting very cold air. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I'm having the exact same problem. Relays and fuses are good but clutch won't engage. If you don't mind me asking, which wire did you jump to check if the clutch would engage. I only see 2 black wires going to the compressor.

its likely you dont have enough refrigerant, which would mean a leak

It was the relay for mine. I switched out the rad fan relay to test it and the clutch engaged. I got a new relay and mine is working again. Thanks

Hey Crimson. When you are standing facing the car, use a paper clip or wire to jump the top two relay slots that controls the compression slot. You should hear the engage click on even without any power.

I verified by engaging the compression clutch mentioned above and turned the car on. I was getting cold air. From talking to a mechanic buddy of mine, it looks like it could be the module not sending the signal.

Haha... Both are correct. Still getting cold but just not freezing cold like how I would like it. Regardless, there is enough freon. I verified with a pressure hookup at my buddies garage.
