Default Turbo h22a best hp for standard wheels?

I was planning on making like 500 hp with fully rebuilt engine but I noticed all Turbo vtecs do is spin. Because of at 400 hp if the tires aren’t going to grip and just redline I figure it would be able the same as 600hp without traction. I have an Accord so it’s pretty heavy but has anyone noticed a huge difference regardless of traction between hp?

What year Accord? You can stuff a pretty healthy sized tire under most of them. I'm running 235/45/17 on my 95 and I know of people who run up to 255 width tires with the right wheel setup. Right now I'm making around 300whp with a turbo F20B and I dead hook every gear unless I launch hard. I have made up to 450whp with a LOT of torque which was more difficult to put down. I had to play with boost by gear but eventually got it dialed in decently. It would usually spin first, haze them in second and dead hook third. There are a lot of variables when it comes to putting the power down. Boost by gear will be your friend. Tire size, tire compound, wheel alignment, differential type, power delivery, etc will all play roles in how you put power down as well.

Right now it’s NA so like 200 with an h22a. Was trying to see what hp I should shoot for when I get it tuned. I have in a 1997 Accord lx. I know with other set ups ppl blow the tires off in 3/4th gear in a light weight civic. maybe the extra weight of the accord will help with boost by gear and fatter tires my best bet

Boost by gear, correct tires, and a good driver takes care of the traction issues.
