The screen turn on and off lights randomly. Sometimes it does not mark the temperature, speed or revolution. Also it marks the emergency brake ,even thought the brake is not up. Also the AC stops working once this problem starts happening. Also, I have noticed that the problem starts to happen somerimwsqhen I step into a hole on the street. May be a loose wire. Help, please. Well. Everything on the dash stops working and then randomly start working again. Has been happening for a few months. And when it happens, AC stops working. It is really annoying. The car is in great condition otherwise. Out of warranty. 2011 EX Civic. Also, it sends wrong signal from the emergency brake. It marks as if the emergency brakes were activated when it is not. Also the stereo turns on and off.

 

I really don't remember hitting anything. But I also remember going fast over an speed bump I couldn't see, Dominican Republic is full of those, and the problem started happening again.

 

could be a bad alternator when diodes go bad they do weird things with electrical components
