Clutch Delay Valve -2010 EX
I searched and didnt find anything!! I have a 2010 Civic and the clutch is driving me nuts. I replaced the motor and tranny mounts and its still a pita to drive smoothly. Does the slave cylinder have a delay valve in it?? I bought a new slave and can’t find a DIY that looks like this one.
Thanks!!

Some users swapped out the Si master cylinder for an EM1 master cylinder with swapping the push rod out.
It's better to just adjust the push rod to maximum travel to reduce the grinds challenge.
Once again this is only applicable if the R18 cars are like the K20 cars on the manual transmission pedal setup.
the SI slave cylinder does have a delay valve for sure........ does the R18? idk. but I seriously doubt the R18 and si have dif slave cylndrs. its a basic mech.
I will probably do this to my 2014 accord in conjunction with adjusting the push rod on the master cylinder like I did to my Si. My trans feels notchy at times.
clutch master can always be upgraded to bigger bore. (more fluid volumn pushed)
and a steel lining eliminating any rubber hose.
don't underestimate fresh clean fluid and completely bled does wonders
