1989 Civic DX Hatch Meter Unit (floater)
Hi everyone, new around here.. sorry if this has been asked before, i did tried searching it but couldn't find anything.
So my fuel gauge reads full at all time.. i checked the fuel level meter unit (floater) and is gone bad... the problem is that it seems like no one has that part brand new.. i tired hondapartsnow and a few others but no one seem to have it and ebay has it used for the price of a new one
so my question is can i use one from a newer model? say 92-95?

id say take yours out and compare it to the 92-95 if its the same go for it
but if its not dont try to make it work, you might have fuel leaks afterwords
for a part like that the junkyard would be best and almost all junkyards have a 30 day warrenty on electricals
even down in Puerto Rico ^_-
buying it new would be a waste of money
buena suerte primo
