Default Are fuel tanks between CX and DX interchangeable

I need a fuel tank and the only one I can find locally is from a DX hatch. Will it directly bolt in to a CX?

The CX/VX is a smaller 9.8 I think? and the DX is an 11.9 gal.

For two reasons: The extra range, and the local junkyard has the DX tank for $50 versus a pita to go hunt down an original one.

in 1992 all eh2 models were 11.9 gall.

93-95 the si and dx kept the 11.9 while the vx and cx utilized a 10.0 gallon tank.

I can't find a CX/VX tank anywhere for some reason.

Ok, since I am apparently the only one on HT who has attempted to put a dx tank on a cx, THEY ARE INTERCHANGEABLE.

I think it hangs down a bit lower, but not enough to cause a problem.
