Squeeking Noise Please Help!
Car: 2000 Accord LX
Hello everyone! I did a search, but couldn't find a situation that was exactly like mine. I have a squeeking noise that comes from the front passenger side and the sound happens when I brake and when I turn left only (right turns are fine). When the car is cold the noise is no where to be heard, but comes around once I start to brake awhile and I have been driving for about 5-10 minutes. I brought it to the shop and they told me it was my rotor (paid $85 to resurface it) which did not solve the problem. Brakes and rotors look good could it be the person I bought it from used cheap ones? Its so embarrassing I tried to bring it to another shop and they can't figure it out telling me everything looked good and to just turn my music up lol. I had the control arm replaced as well since the boot was torn. Please help thanks in advance!~

creaking sounds tend to be ball joints, so if it sounds like a creaking, it could be your lower ball joint or even your upper control arm ball joint, but normally it's the lower
a lot of times what happens is the boot tears and water gets in there and make it go bad and makes it creak, so take a look and see if the boot for the ball joint is torn

If it was me, I would drive it around until it started squeaking and bring it home and have a buddy turn the wheel and try and pinpoint the sound. if its only during braking, it may be the brake pads need some brake quiet gel/grease on the back of the pads, as some brake pads tend to vibrate against the caliper or mounting plate, causing a squeaking sound.
If you paid a shop and they claimed it was the rotor, bring it back to them and tell them it still squeaks, you paid for service and they screwed the pooch, they need to make it right.
