2003 Honda Accord 2.4L cranks but won't start
2 months ago I got into an accident. A week after the accident, a few friends of mine helped me straighten out the core support so i could pull out parts. The condenser, radiator, and reservoir was replaced. The battery had been taken out for about 2 weeks. When I put the battery back in, the car just cranks but does not start fully. I've checked all the fuses and relays. The fuel pump is cycling so I assume it's working and there is enough gas in it. The battery has power to start it. I've checked and replaced 2 of the spark plugs and the coils seem fine. I haven't had any misfires or anything like that. I'm at a loss of what else to do or what could cause the engine to crank but not start.
I wish I could help you but I have the same problem with my 2003 3.0 EX Accord. I changed all the timing components (belt, tensioner, idler pulley, adjuster, water pump and crank oil seal all while using OEM Honda parts. I also removed the VTEC solenoid assembly and changed the figure 8 seal and the screen seal and reassembled. I have performed several timing belt changes on Honda Accord V6's in the past with no problems. The timing was #1 at TDC with both cams and crank lined up on their perspective marks. Timing is set up perfect. After reassembly the car ran for about one or two second and since has failed to start. Compression good, has fire and fuel pump is running. Aggravating to say the least. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
