Fill me in on a D16Y7 to B20B swap please...(00 civic lx)
Im new to these forums, my name is Chino, I own a 2000 Civic LX (sedan if needed be) / manual...I just bought a 'full' B20B swap and just to re-assure myself i would like to know what a full B20B swap should include (the swap came with a chipped p28), if it would work fine in my car, and which tranny would be better...hydro tranny (would need to be rebuilt)... or cable tranny (working). Thank You
You're going to want to stick with the hydro transmission.
You need a B18B intake manifold for clearance, and the header, if you are planning to get it inspected for smog/BAR.
Also a factory P75 matching the year of the car. (Disregard if you don't need to smog/get it inspected)
Em1 Si shift linkage+rear T bracket.
If you want to retain AC you'll need a CRV AC bracket

@Caoboy I'm trying to boost later on in a few months and the engine right now is not stock, makes about 200-300hp with cp pistons and other stuff, but the guy who sold it to me had it in a 93 civic going 140mph just fine until he went into 3rd gear in the hydro trans and blew the tranny.
Usually a full swap includes everything to convert your car.
Longblock+accessories, transmission, shift linkage, mounts, wire harness, ecu, axles, etc.
