PLEASE Help me with a B18B Swap in my Civic!
So i blew my motor the onther day (dont ask) so i was searching for a new one, and this guy said he would do the whole B18B Swap for me for 2000 bucks. The motor was from an older guys integra with 80,000 miles on it.
He said i might need other stuff like a NON-Vtec engine harness since i have a Vtec one, and axles and new tranny. Is there anything else i need or any sites to help me out on this? not much info on the LS so i figured i would ask you guys.
Well thanks alot
peace

Your VTEC harness will work, you'll just have plugs dangling.
Be sure and get the entire swap - complete engine [IM, header, distributor, sensors, etc], tranny, axles, ecu, shift linkage, all mounts.
You'll need a B-series throttle cable.
If you're retaining AC you'll need a Del Sol VTEC AC bracket, or you'll need to modify your lines to work with the LS compressor.
This is all assuming you have a 5th generation civic...
