my 2001 itr has become mouse's castle.
i spotted mouse dropping on my carpet. so i removed the carpet.
my car is completely gutted ...
i cleaned up as good as i can.. lysol'ed fucked out the whole car..
i started the car up last time and turned on the heat. it .smelled like dead meat.
i have a feeling they got into the blower motor.or some air duct .
do i get a different body and swap my motor over and burn the car down or what??
i'm so disgusted .
yikes

It's not hard to drop the heater box for cleaning. If you find omerging I would do that then try to remove and clean all the ducting. You do not want to be breathing in dead rat, rat waste, whatever else is in there.
Going to have to pull the dash and get a shopvac and suck the dead ones and their **** out. I had a similar situation when I stored mine for a few years. Field mice got in and I had to tear everything apart to completely clean them out. Sucked *** and it smelled terrible.

Very nice, I'll never get tired of looking at ITRs.
I'd start baiting some traps and see if you can get any live ones out of your car. Or are there just too many rodents in the area, I see the trees in the background.
