Default Anyone running the Hasport CMA?

I'm using the Hasport CMA to adapt my clutch cable to a hydraulic system but after my engine swap I've noticed that the master cylinder might not be happy with engine heat or something... With really no other place to put the kit, I've mounted it to the top of the transmission here:

On really hot days or if I'm pushing the car hard I noticed that my clutch pedal would start to feel stiff, and would only get better if I eased off or just parked the car to cool everything down. To test my heat theory I cut a hole in the hood above where I mounted the CMA and slapped on a scoop, and this has mostly solved the problem though if the car is stopped on a hot day the pedal is stiff again until the car is moving. I'm using DOT4 fluid for the master cylinder. My question here is should I look into a different fluid or is my core problem the fact it sits so close to the engine?

you can actually mount the CMA where ever the clutch cable reaches and then just run a custom line to the slave
ive mounted them on the rear crossmember, front crossmember and off the front of the transmission
you can loop the clutch cable if need be

Yeah this seems like the only place I've got room though. I'm toying with the idea of trying to insulate the master cylinder or something.

Yeah I went the hydro route as I could easily find decently low mileage transmissions instead of the half-a-million-miles and probably needing rebuild cable transmissions which make the rounds in the used market here. Mine is from a 2001 Integra LS which gives me the gearing I wanted as the car is only a highway cruiser.

Sweet plan man. I've got a cable trans which needs a minor rebuild. The hydro trans have better internals from what I have seen. The shift forks are stouter. Also I do highway driving and some city. The itr trans I'm using has a 4.7 FD. We'll see how it goes.
