Default DC5 Steering Arm Replacement

Hey guys I have to change my Steering Arms on my DC5 to shorter versions as I can't get the Camber / Toe where it needs to be. So I purchased a couple of Hardrace Arms (1" shorter 7840) and the problem I'm having is I'm unable to get the original 30mm Nuts too loosen. These are the Nuts on the inner ends of the Steering Arms and are connected to the Rack Slider front centre of the Rack. Can anybody give me some clue as to how to get them off without removing the Rack and or damaging the Slider and without removing the engine? I've removed the Heater Tap and the MS Motor Sport CF Intake for clear access. I even went and purchased a short H/D Shifter type Spanner as there still isn't much space. But the Shifter just flex's and expands.

If you're talking about removing the inner tie rods from the steering rack, I've had the best luck using one of those pipe-shaped tie rod tools.

GearWrench 3312D Inner Tie Rod Separator

You basically slip it over the inner tie rod, put a 1/2" wrench on the other side, and crank on it. I've also seen ones that have more precise-fitting brackets instead of a screw and a flat (like this), but haven't had much personal experience with them.

It's also very common for mechanics to use Loctite on the inner tie rods on mid 90's - early 2000's Hondas since they have this nasty tendency to back out from normal driving. If you can't get it to loosen using the tools above, apply a bit of heat to the base of the inner tie rod end, let it cool, and try again.
