Steering Rack Bushings "Q"
hey wassup guys...
just wanted to know if there is a link with info for how to change the steering rack bushings..
im new into this.. i want to get some info an try a little DIY..

hmm well there are only 2 that I can think of that actually attach the rack to the crossmember.
If you check here http://kswap.o2flow.net/ and scroll down you'll see where I repainted one of my crossmembers and cleaned up the rack
The right side has the only 2 bushings which are pretty cheap to replace straight from Honda. The rack itself is composed 2 main parts on each side that are designed to wear out: inner and outer tie rods. These can be replaced fairly cheaply and easily also.
This is an outer tie rod:
I don't have a pic handy of the inner tie rod but if you look at this pic, it's the threaded part on the outside of the rack (NOTE: in this pic, the outer tie rods are removed completely)
