D17A2 head on D17A1 block???
So i have a 2003 honda civic Ex and it needed a new engine (connecting rods, lower block) so i bought an engine and i come to find out its non-vtec. it doesn't have the spool valve that my old engine has. my question is can i still put in the new engine without vtec (D17A1) in my honda that had a vtec engine? (D17A2) if not can i put the head of the A2 on the block of the A1??? please help!
