Finally getting around to posting my 2003 CRV. Just finished Dobinsons 40mm lift springs, KYB's, all new Moog rubber and brakes. Pretty stoked again! Awning/Tent setup is ARB 2500, Rack and Box are Thule, fog/trail lights are KC HiLites Amber spot...needed around my neck of the woods The wide bars are used for a lot of kayaks! Going to be plasti-dipping rims next, replacing all rubber w/ 235 75 15 Grabber AT2 soon and obviously dealing with the spare tire hahaha. What do you think, lose the mudflaps now? Thanks H-T, old time non-poster here
Lookin sexy. What size tires are on there now? They look bigger than stock... maybe it’s just the snow? Hah. Also how did you mount those amber LED squares? I like that look.
Thanks! They are General Grabber AT2 sized 215 75 15. Really like them! The KC HiLites Amber lights are mounted to the upper bumper support and i cut a few of the lower fins out with tin snips and then cleaned it up. They look yellow at some angles and amber at others. Do not use them on the highway.
That’s the tire size I was gonna get soon - probably Toyo Open Country AT2 as they’re a few pounds lighter than the General Grabbers. By cutting fins, do you mean radiator fins? I might have to find a different spot to mount mine lol. I can’t afford to lose any cooling capability down here!
235/75 will be a ton of rubber for the CRV. If I had another CRV to play with I would definitely do that though. My wife doesn’t want to lose too many MPGs👌🏻😬

Grabbers weigh 29 pounds i believe, still getting 25 hwy or so, even with all the rack and box. Looking at 2-3 more pounds for 235's. Definately on the fence, should be better about playing with the tire pressure in the snow or sand. This is our fun car for camping and playing now so not too concerned about mpg either.
I cut the plastic lower grill to mount the lights to the bumper, not the radiator. Sorry for the confusion. They don't move/shake any. I'm ok with it.
