93 Accord hard start in morning
once ina while it takes several tries to start, it cranks and kicks over but does. After several tries returning the ignition to off each time it will start, however the engine lite is on,it isles rough and the gearshift indicator light blinks. Rev it up and it smooths out. After driving the next time it is started the engine lite is off and everything is fine. This has only happened 4 or 5 times in last couple months. Before that water pump, timing belt etc replaced and distributer replaced.

This could be a couple different things. I would start my checking every ground and its location condition. Resand and reseat each ugly ground to start. See if that works, if not check your timing. These are some issues I have to deal with on some of my cb7s.

So far since the engine light doesn’t stay on, my mechanic says no codes are showing up. The only time it acts up is early in the morning when he is closed. This all started after they installed the new distributor and water pump
