CVCC: 4spd vs 5spd

CVCC: 4spd vs 5spd
I found a solid deal on a CVCC but its a 4 speed manual and I would normally prefer the 5 speed. Should I hold out for a 5 speed or do you think it makes that much of a difference. Also, is this a situation where I could swap in a 5spd trans if I wanted to? Thanks!
