Default Automatic with manual mode vs a true 6speed.

I've done some research on this but can't find a concise answer.

Did the 98ish to 02ish TLs come with a true 6 speed or just an auto with manual mode?

If they did come with a true 6 speed how does the performance or driving feel compare between the two?

Not a serious answer just a curiosity.

Default Re: Automatic with manual mode vs a true 6speed.

That model was only available in 4 speed automatic. It's very much a SLUSH box. It's a very toned down, weak automatic transmission with no hopes for being "sporty" or performance-oriented.
