Engine swap
What’s up y’all. First off, I’m new here! Also first time Honda owner. I have a 1998 Honda Civic dx coupe. I have 230k on stock engine and running strong. I’m looking to swapping it and adding more power. Do y’all have any recommendations? I’m am thinking of throwing a turbo on it, but not looking to add massive numbers. Thanks !
this won't be the popular suggestion, but i've enjoyed it:
Y8/Z6 swap including the transmission. give the motor a refresh, rings gaskets, tuneup parts
keep the car clean and light. emphasis on light. good wheels and tires are worth it too.
get very familiar with redline.
while getting used to your new engine and transmission, gather parts for a turbo.
enjoy.

IMO the best engine for a swap is the Integra GSR. Low cost compared to K-Series, easier and better documented than an H-series, more power than other B-Series, (B16/B18a/b/B20) enough power to have fun naturally aspirated, and can be boosted in stock form to 300whp safely.
